Making partnerships

  1. Write an email to your chosen community leader. See additional resources for email template.

  2. Don’t give up if they can’t help. Try another person in their office or another group altogether.

  3. Find out how much they can assist. You will need supplies, possible permits, recommendations, and help promoting.

  4. If the city can not provide supplies, contact local businesses and centers to borrow or have supplies donated. Some businesses may want to sponsor the cleanup. See additional resources for supply list.

  5. Still no supplies? Cleanups don’t have to be fancy! See additional resources for DIY tutorials.
